The 30th Entry

Taking a breather

Somehow this is the 30th entry on the Patternflow blog. The project properly took shape starting in March, so it's been about half a year. Money still only goes out, which is irritating… funding conversions have stalled again. I ran a test on Instagram reel ads, about 30,000 won worth, and it was pretty meaningless. Views only came to about three thousand, and of those, around five hundred clicked the link. I'd be better off building the skill to post better reels instead. The ad cost feels far too expensive for the views.

I looked up and contacted a few more channels worth advertising on, for when the grant comes in. They're all expensive. The one running the channel that actually looks good said sending the product would be enough, though. Hm. Maybe I should just build several loaner Patternflows with the grant. But even that I can only spend after consulting an expert about how the grant is to be used. It doesn't look like it'll happen within this week, so maybe next week. Which pushes production back again. And there's less than a month left on the funding. I'm just thinking like this every day.

Sound, too. I truly genuinely completely have no idea how to approach it. It feels like I could do something incredibly cool, but the moment I try, I don't know where to start, and honestly I just don't have the fundamentals. Whatever, let's just do it. My head hurts too much, so from here on I don't want to think one bit about the grant this, Instagram that, funding whatever. Let me deliberately switch it off for a while.
